Because no matter how thoughtful the reflection or how inspiring the vision, nothing shifts until you do something - even something tiny.

🍋 A Coaching-Infused Reflection: Why the First Bite Matters

When I looked at my own “life dish,” I realized well-being was the ingredient affecting everything else - my energy, creativity, relationships, and even my work.

I was tempted to start with big gestures - regular massages or weekend nature trips - but logistics made those hard. So I chose to start small, focusing on mindset. I watched a few Louise Hay videos, subscribed to her newsletter, and practiced short affirmations.

Each small action built momentum. And I made sure to celebrate those steps: enjoying a cappuccino without multitasking , savoring a slice of cake 🍰, or raising a glass of wine 🍷 to acknowledge the progress.

It wasn’t about dramatic change overnight. It was about building confidence and consistency one small action at a time.

One of my clients recently shared something similar: “I stopped waiting for the ‘perfect moment.’ I spent 10 minutes updating my résumé, and suddenly the next steps felt less intimidating.

🍴 What’s ONE Action You Can Take this Week?

Here’s your challenge: make it small, doable, and immediate. Something that takes 10 minutes or less and moves you forward - today, not “someday”!

Some examples to get you thinking:

  • Add a short walk to your day - and notice how it shifts your energy.
  • Block 15 minutes this week to brainstorm one “new ingredient” you want to add.
  • Send a message or email you’ve been putting off.

The point isn’t to complete the recipe - it’s simply to start cooking.
