Hello Christelle,
Taking time self-reflecting, asking ourselves questions, trying to look at something with a different perspective is a great way to evolve, to grow, to learn about ourselves… but sometimes we JUST need a break… and look at what others did, how they got there, what motivated them…
Expanding our view of what’s possible, of what could be waiting for us “out there”
This week, I’m looking back at 3 books I really enjoyed reading, each with its own “inspiration” twist:
Becoming – Michelle Obama
Or how someone decided to invest a lot of time, energy, hard work, money in pursuing a career path… then realized that wasn’t a career path she enjoyed that much, and went on looking for a more suitable path…
Educated – Tara Westover
Or how someone decided to take a turn instead of following the path opening in front of her… and discovered a completely different world, and completely different opportunities!
I Am Malala – Malala Yousafzai
Or how someone had a pretty good VISION in mind, and followed that VISION with the support of very few people … despite this VISION not being aligned with “society’s expectations”!
I’m curious: What do you do when you need a break from yourself?
Empowering yourself - starting with holding yourself accountable…
Let’s take a break – a REAL break!
- It’s not always that easy… so much to do, so much to think about, so many people wanting a “bit” of you…
- Let’s see how you can hold yourself accountable for ACTUALLY taking a BREAK!
