Christelle,
A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for - John A. Shedd
Imagine…
You’re the ship…
What would be your harbor?
- Your home? Your position at the company you work for? Your social circle?
But what is it that you’re built for?
- Moving to another city, another country that you’re not familiar with?
- Looking for a different job, in a different industry, with a different level of responsibilities?
- Going to networking events on your own, without knowing anyone else attending?
- Doing something different to the people around you?
- And what else?
Now… Are you staying “safe” in your harbor, or are you going for what you were built for?
Personally, whatever my “harbor” was when growing up… I just wanted to get out of it… and figure out what it is I was “built for”…
And more recently, while still in the construction industry, I realized I wasn’t (anymore) built for that “harbor”… so I needed to get out of it… but I also needed to figure out what I was “built for” at that moment… which is what brought me to life coaching…
So, what’s your “harbor” story?
Empower yourself - starting with holding yourself accountable…
