Hi Christelle,
A short pause
We’re good at preparing backups for systems (files, devices, data)
But much less often for ourselves!
A clear lens
With World Backup Day on March 31, it’s made me think about support… and how differently it works for people.
For a long time, I believed the only way to move forward in my career and life was to do everything on my own.
I didn’t come from a family with connections.
I knew it would make things harder, but I didn’t see another way.
Over time, I discovered networking… and then something deeper than that.
Not building a network to sell to.
But building a circle of support:
- People who encourage.
- People who inspire.
- Professional spaces where growth feels possible.
- Friends who steady you when things feel heavy.
I’ve become more intentional about the connections I nurture (even if I’m still finding the right balance)!
And now, after moving back to France following more than twenty years abroad, I’m looking forward to slowly building a new circle here, while keeping the one I already have.
It’s reminded me of something simple:
Support works best when it’s in place before you urgently need it.
A few questions to reflect
When things feel heavy, who or what do you naturally turn to?
Where does your support feel strong?
Where does it feel fragile, or missing?
One small step
Acknowledge one source of support you already have.
Or name one kind of connection you’d like to strengthen.
Not all at once.
Just one.
A gentle bridge
If you’re considering working together and would like to explore what that could look like, I offer 30-minute conversations to discuss your situation and see whether one of my coaching options would be a good fit.
You can schedule a conversation here if you’d like
To steady ground and strong circles,
Christelle
