Christelle,
A short pause
Happiness is often talked about in big, general terms.
Yet when we feel it, it usually shows up in small, specific moments.
A clear lens
With the International Day of Happiness approaching on March 20, it’s made me pay closer attention to what happiness looks like in everyday life.
Not the version we post about.
Not the one we promise ourselves “later”.
But the quiet, practical kind.
Right now, as I’m settling back in France and moving between temporary places while exploring where I’d like to live long-term, it would be easy to put happiness on hold.
There’s a lot to organise. A lot of change. A lot of disruption.
And yet, I’ve noticed how much difference a few small moments make.
- My morning cappuccino.
- Staying in touch with friends.
- Visiting my parents more often.
- Tasting local food.
Nothing extraordinary.
Just simple things that gently lift my days.
It’s reminded me that happiness rarely comes from a big shift.
It grows from the small things we quietly protect.
A few questions to reflect
When during your day do you feel most at ease?
What small moments tend to bring a little lightness?
What makes those moments possible?
One small step
Choose one small thing this week that supports your well-being.
Not something impressive. Just something real.
Make a little space for it.
Protect it gently.
A gentle bridge
If making more room for what supports you feels important right now, we can step back together in a 30-minute conversation to see what kind of support would feel right for you – schedule this call here!
To the small things that matter,
Christelle
